When buying a stool, it is essential to know some basic principles associated with this product. Thus, the change in height and width required between the product are part of the criteria to be considered when acquiring the product. To enlighten you about these issues, the Createch team provides documentation in the form of illustrations that allow you to make the right choice.

Counter height

A lunch counter measure between 35 and 36 inches tall. For this type of installation, a stool with a seat 24 inches to 26 inches in height will be required.

Bar height

A bar counter measure between 40 and 42 inches tall. For this type of installation, a stool with a seat 28 inches to 30 inches in height will be required.

Space between swools

The space between each of stools can vary depending on the model type. Nevertheless, we believe that a space of about 24 to 30 inches (including the stool itself) between the stools is very reasonable.

In terms of the number of stools placed along a counter, we suggest to put two stools counter having a length of 48-60 inches and three stools counter 72 to 96 inches. Once again, these estimates may vary depending on the type of base (fixed or pivoting), the width of the seat and models with armrest.
